Update

by Seamus Walsh on October 13, 2011

I have not been able to update this site recently due to the success of my own keyword strategy. I learned getting found is only is only part of the equation. One must have content that is aligned to your client’s buying life cycle. The work I am doing now is post SEO, that allows companies to deliver content during a sales process that is tied to a buyers wants and needs.

If you are in need of content and are looking for copywriters, feel free to post a job listing on my B2B Content Marketing LinkedIn Group jobs section. There are over 400 content experts, many of them do freelance work.

In relation to how I can help you today, I updated a 2008 whitepaper on Account Content Marketing: Building Relationships With Key Accounts. Check out that paper if you are looking to build strategic relationships and grow revenue at key accounts.

If you have a question, please give me a call at 802-922-6943.

All the best,

Experiment 4- “customer management process” update

by Seamus Walsh on August 6, 2010

Updated 8/22/2010

Last month I met with the founder, his general manager and the IT director of a local sales, order fulfillment and CRM provider. They have been in business since 1995 and have several European “brands” as BPO clients providing them with all aspects of the customer management process.

They were having issues getting found and wanted a way to “sum up” their offering in a way that is “search engine” friendly. Click here to see phase one of the results.

Here are today’s results.

“Customer management process” search results on:

Google; # 9 organic

Edited 8/25/2010
Bing; No placement organic #1 organic

Yahoo; # 1 organic.

Experiment 2 – content marketing platform. Are you getting ripped off?

June 18, 2010

I started this blog out of frustration and supplier behavior seems to have gotten worse since then. I was tired of the sinister, the slippery, the sly and casuistic behavior of more than a few SEO firms and their shifty and shameless behaviors around SEO. I set out to find the cost for 3 keywords [...]

Using keywords as part of your SEO strategy

December 24, 2009

“Inbound Marketing on a budget” is a keyword string, I think it is one of the easiest ways to get found and allows you to get micro-topical in a particular subject. Many companies try and to bury keyword strings on their website with hundreds or thousands of other pages, that’s not our philosophy. Our goal [...]
